![]() ![]() Will appreciate any info about your SyncPlay experience with the latest Jellyfin. Technical Title: Syncplay 1.6.2 for Windows File size: 13. syncplay could manage the sync between multiple files, in which case there need to be a convenient way for user to set offset between them, or syncplay could just manage the sync of each file individually, in which case the user need to play files at the right time which might be kinda jank. The idea is to have stunnel receive a plain strictly. Second, running stunnel on a localhost port as well, standing in front of syncplay-server, in order to handle TLS decapsulation. If it's not possible, is there any noticeable lag when remotely streaming with SyncPlay option? When one of you pauses, do you see the same frame? First, running a Syncplay server (optionally: on localhost only theres no flag in syncplay-server for this, but can be done by running it in a Docker container). Is it possible to SyncPlay the same title from 2 different Jellyfin servers? From my experience, playing a local file can really minimize any lag, buffering, and seek performance. Syncplay is open source, so anyone who wants to code a feature is able to do so. But I was always curious to try Jellyfin out, and noticed that Jellyfin MPV Shim became the official Jellyfin Desktop client, and Jellyfin itself had an update for TV SyncPlay, so I thought maybe it's time to try, since we are apart again, and got too used to a neat library view at hand. I noticed some time ago that Jellyfin MPV Shim from the same developer mentioned a SyncPlay feature (is it related to the standalone Syncplay or just using the same name?), but I wasn't yet ready to set up a new media server + sync its state with Plex etc. /rebates/&252fsyncplay-large-file-issue. We're currently using iPad Plex + Plex MPV Shim when we're together, and standalone Syncplay client/server + MPV with plain local video files when we're apart. Troubleshooting DON’T FORGET TO CHECK THAT YOU ARE USING THE LATEST VERSION OF SYNCPLAY Syncplay does not load on Windows If Syncplay does not load on Windows then you probably need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable Package (Download the 32-bit version, i.e. Folders being too big is a problem because (1) it is probably not always good for the hard drive for Syncplay to be constantly looking for files 100 of the time (especially when this is the same drive you are also currently getting the media itself from), and (2) it means that when there is a file you want it might take Syncplay too long to.
